DAY 1

 CLASSIC TOUR OF FLORENCE

Arrival at Florence Railway Station and transfer to the 4 star hotel. Accomodation and lunch in hotel.
In the afternoon, a short walk through the historical streets to reach Piazza della Signoria, an open-air sculpture museum, where you can admire the imposing Palazzo Vecchio (exterior) 
and the beautiful Loggia del Lanzi.

Guided visit of the famous Academy  where you can admire the superb David by Michelangelo.

After the visit of the musemum a few step to reach
the Ponte Vecchio the “Jewellers’ bridge”, one of the symbols of Florence. End of the Tour and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2

FLORENCE AND EXCURSION TO PISA

After the breakfast, city tour to the old city centre for a visit of the Franciscan church of Santa Croce (interior) where there are tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini among others. The tour will proceed with an outdoor guided visit of the Duomo complex: Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso and the visit to the interior of the Cathedral with the magnificent Brunelleschi's Cupola . The tour will continue with a drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. Lunch in restaurant.

After lunch, departure from Florence for a splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. After the panoramic drive by bus along the banks of the Arno, the tour continues on foot with a guided tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries. Our tour escort will walk you to Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the historic Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world. 
At the end transfer back to Florence.

DAY 3

SAN GIMIGNANO AND SIENA

Departure from Florence to San Gimignano a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries; situated on a hilltop, it is famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures; free time to discover this fascinating city. The excursion continues through the Chianti Area to Gaiole in Chianti. Stop at the Meleto Castle. It is a majestic 13th century hill-top building one mile from the ancient village of Gaiole. For centuries, the history of the castle was closely connected with the noble Ricasoli family. The group will have a guided tour of the castle and the cellars with a wine tasting and a light lunch.
At the end transfer to Siena. After the check-in at the 4 star hotel, departure for the city tour:
walking along the small medieval streets, admiring the magnificent palaces and ending up at the Cathedral where you can visit the splendid interior including the Libreria Piccolomini and the adjacent Museo dell'Opera Metropolitana. The guided tour will conclude in the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in the world, where you will find the Palazzo del Comune (exterior).

DAY 4

FULL DAY EXCURSION TO MONTALCINO AND PIENZA

Departure from Siena to Montalcino. Stop at a local farm owned by the family who gave birth to the Brunello more than one a century ago. Wine-tasting and visit to the wine cellars. After the wine tasting arrival to Montalcino, birth-place of one of the most excellent wine of Tuscany. After a short visit of the little centre departure to Sant’ Antimo for the visit of the magnificient Abbey. The Abbey is set in a large open valley and it’s a famous example f Romanesque style. Lunch in restaurant.
After lunch departure to Pienza: rare example of Renaissance town planning defined the ideal town or the utopia town. After a tour of the city transfer back to Siena.

DAY 5

After breakfast departure for Florence.
